This Wolf belongs to a beach-combing, semi-aquatic pack of 'Sea Wolves'.  Some of these Wolves source eighty percent or more of their food from the ocean. They are intelligent and resourceful, and will eat everything from barnacles, mussels and crabs, to seals, sea otters and beached whales. They have been recorded swimming up to thirteen kilometres at a time.  ​
